After many years today had been to a kutcheri. It was classical vocal recital concert of MS.Thanmayee Krishnamurthy held at Rama Lalitha Kala Mandir at BSK 2nd Stage. It was a very good concert.
She started her concert by a very well known Virboni Atta Tala Varnam said to raga Bhairavi a composition of Pacchimiriyam Adiyappa and was followed by Enthaveduko a composition of Tyagaraja in the raga Saraswathi Manohari.
It was then followed by Dwaitamu Sukama a composition of Tyagaraja in the raga Reethigowla.
And continued by Chalakallaladu a composition of Tyagaraja in the raga Arabhi. Then followed by Thalli Ninnunera a composition of Shyama Shastry in the raga Kalyani.
Then there was Ragam Thanam Pallavi in Raga Hindolam.
She concluded her vocal rectical by Baro Krishnayya in Ragamalika a composition of Kanakadasa and followed with Mangalam Ramachandraya in raga Shankarabharanam a composition of Bhadrachalaramadas.
She was accompanied by Shri.Vittala Rangan on the violin, Shri G S Ramanujam on the Mridangam and Shri V S Ramesh on the Morching.
